Course Dates: June 2025 Estimated 28hrs Format: Distance Delivery (Synchronous & Asynchronous)
Synchronous and Asynchronous Learning:
Much of this class is self-paced or demonstrated while teaching. In this class, it’s anticipated that we’ll all learn together; we each contribute to class learning as a whole. When learners can’t join a synchronous session, they will have the opportunity to generate evidence of their own learning and contribute to the class in another format. This could mean summarizing class discussions from recordings, helping to organize chat logs, or other assignments depending on the content. These assignments will be due along with other weekly assignments.
In Moodle, content is organized into Lessons that correspond with the lessons in the Alaska DHSS Alaska Specific Instructor Course Objectives and Learning Content (available in Lesson 0: Start Here, and in the Instructor Repository). We will have other resources and activities in Moodle. Class zoom recordings and chat logs will be loaded into the appropriate module when complete.
