ETT Resources:
Go to the Alaska EMS License Management Site to get state approval to teach an Initial ETT Course.
Course Completion Process
Now that your course has been approved, SOEMS has initiated a process to for the instructor to close their courses. This is important because the course completion and attendee status of “pass” or “Completed” will be the verification process for ETT Certification. Therefore it is extremely important that you enter your students into the course and select the correct attendee status for that student. When Course Completion is delayed, your student’s Certificate will be delayed until course completion is verified.
To accomplish closing your course do the following:
1) Enter all of the attendees into the course. In order to do this, your students must have a LMS account. Be sure to help your students set up their accounts.
2) Set your attendee’s status- Either Pass, Complete, Fail, Incomplete, or Withdrew
3) Set the date of completion in the Student record.
NOTE: Items 2 and 3 may be completed by “bulk actions” within your course.
4) Upload the following documentation such as -Completed ETT Skills Checkoff Sheets for each student
5) Save the changes
6) Send an email to me at carin.marter@alaska.gov, notifying me that the course has been completed. Please include the course number and name.
7) Have your students submit an ETT application ( either initial or renewal) inside the LMS portal
8) Either you or your students can pay the ETT registration fee at https://serems.org/shop/pay-for-an-ett-cme-card/
9) Certification certificate will be emailed directly to your students after they submit an ETT application and available on their LMS profile.
