Alaska Rural EMS Needs

We want to hear what your community needs to provide reliable emergency medical care. Your input will help inform recommendations for Alaska’s Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) and broader EMS planning.

Please answer based on your experience. You do not need to look up records or provide exact numbers. We welcome responses from communities with established EMS services, volunteer response groups, and communities without an active service.

Please do not include patient names or identifying details. 

Who will see your answers?
The EMS Regions will see your answers and will analyze responses to determine EMS priorities.
How will we share what we learn with State of Alaska Office of EMS?
We will share:

  • A map showing which communities took part.
  • A summary of EMS needs across Alaska.
  • A summary of EMS needs in each region.
